Questions

Galvanised Steel kit — FAQs

Is the galvanised kit right for coastal homes?

Galvanised steel is the best-value choice for inland and dry climates. If you're near the coast or in salty air, choose our 316 marine-grade stainless kit, which resists corrosion far better in seaside conditions.

How many solar panels does one kit cover?

One kit contains 30 metres of mesh, enough for most residential systems of up to around 18–20 panels (a typical panel perimeter is 10–16 linear metres).

Do I need to drill into my roof or panels?

No drilling required. The kit uses a non-penetrative hook and washer that attach to your existing panel frames, so there are no holes in your roof or panels.

What's included, and is there a warranty?

Each kit includes the galvanised steel mesh roll, mounting clips, UV-stable cable ties and a step-by-step installation guide, backed by a 10-year warranty. Shipping is free Australia-wide.
